Scheduling a Visit A visit to Midland School will give you the chance to see first hand what makes Midland such a valuable educational experience. In the course of your visit, you will come to understand how our philosophies of simplicity and self-reliance make for a formative, essential education. Please call the Admissions Office at 805-688-5114 ext. 14 and speak with Derek Svennungsen, Director of Admissions. The available days to visit are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to noon (or through lunch, if you'd like), or from 1:00 to 3:30 on those same days. We can also host students on Saturday at 9:30. Occasionally, a prospective student can choose to spend the night on campus; please discuss this option with the Director of Admissions if you are interested. The visit includes a tour of the immediate campus and the surrounding property. Please dress casually and wear good walking shoes; Midland is an outdoor school in the truest sense of the word.
