MASCOTA VISITORS AT MIDLAND

As part of a cultural exchange program, Midland hosts students and teachers from Mascota, Jalisco, Mexico for two weeks each fall. This year, Midland hosted eleven students and one teacher.

Then in the spring, Midland juniors travel to the small mountain town of Mascota, Jalisco, Mexico (click to see a map) for two weeks. Mascota is near the childhood home of Midland's Spanish Chair Jose Juan Ibarra '87, and through his vision and hard work, our students are able to live and learn in an environment that is different from ours.

Here are photos with the Mascota students and teacher during their visit to Midland November 11-23, 2007.
