Juniors take PSAT at Midland.

September thru November

Meet with college admissions representatives at Midland.  Typically, approximately 30 colleges recruit at Midland in the fall.

January thru May

Juniors meet every Tuesday from 11:20 to 12:05 to learn details of college application process; all students should take the opportunity to have at least one individual meeting with me during the spring semester.

Late March

Deadline to register to take May 1 SAT I; cost is $45.

Early May

Take the SAT I Reasoning Test at Dunn School (test center code 05455)

Early May

Deadline to register to take June 5 SAT II Subject Tests; cost is $47.

Late May

Graduation

June

Take the SAT II at a test center near your home.

Breaks and Vacations

Visit colleges whenever possible.  At this point, you are visiting colleges to begin determining which schools you will be applying to.  Some of you will still be determining which type of schools you want—big, small, public, private, etc.  It’s still a good idea to visit the schools near your home.  Again, you’ll always get a better sense of the school if you visit when students are there.
